Polycarbonate 3D printer filament is strong and resists deforming at higher temperatures, unlike other more common 3D printer filaments. Parts 3D printed in polycarbonate will be strong, stiff and rigid.

  • Separate Accessory Required!

    Tool heads equipped with the new LulzBot Hexagon Hot End can safely heat up to 300C and can be used to 3D print polycarbonate. The previously offered Budaschnozzle cannot safely heat to the required ~300°C to extrude Polycarbonate. The LulzBot TAZ 5 (and up) & LulzBot Mini are both capable of printing with polycarbonate out of the box.

  • Print Surface Recommendation:

    Applying a glue stick (such as Elmer's® brand) directly to the print surface before starting your LulzBot 3D printer is strongly recommended for increased printed object adhesion.
