Cura LulzBot Edition Installation: Fedora

Installation using a package manager

Cura LulzBot Edition is available through yum and dnf, the Fedora package manager.

For Fedora 23 and newer users, in a terminal send the following command:

sudo dnf install cura-lulzbot

Building from source

To build Cura from source, follow the instructions from our code repo available at https://code.alephobjects.com/diffusion/CURA/.

Troubleshooting

If you have trouble connecting to your LulzBot 3D printer, you may need to add your user account to the dialout/tty serial access group. In a terminal, send the following command:

sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER

sudo usermod -a -G dialout $USER

sudo usermod -a -G serial $USER

Log out of your current session and once you log in again, you should have port access.

Removal Instructions

 

Removal Through Terminal

Send the following command to remove Cura:

sudo dnf erase cura
