Aleph Objects Releases Second Quarter and Six Months 2016 Financial Results
- For the second quarter of 2016, the company reported revenue of US$5.8 million, recording four consecutive profitable quarters
- Second quarter 2016 represents an 83% improvement in year-over-year revenue versus second quarter 2015
- Year-to-date 2016, the company reported profitable performance on revenue of $10.5 million
Quarterly revenue was driven by strong performance across the company's entire line of products, including desktop 3D printers, accessories, and materials. The company's internal customer surveys indicate strong growth in personal and professional use of desktop 3D printing across dozens of applications, with over 98% of customers saying they would recommend LulzBot products.
Aleph Objects released several new products, led by the LulzBot TAZ 6 desktop 3D printer. The company updated its core software, Cura LulzBot Edition, and released High Temperature PLA from Proto-pasta. Aleph Objects improved its value proposition for enterprise and expert users with the new LulzBot TAZ FlexyDually Tool Head v2.
