Today we have four new types of Colorfabb filament available in the LulzBot store! We now carry bambooFill, bronzeFill, copperFill, and woodFill. These four specialty filaments are premium blended products with exciting post-processing potential. The colorFabb composite materials that we carry in our store have the following properties:
- bambooFill combines recycled bamboo fibers (20%) with premium colorFabb PLA (80%) to create natural looking, light-weight 3D printed objects.
- bronzeFill combines finely ground bronze powder with premium colorFabb PLA allowing heavy 3D printed objects that can be polished or oxidized to achieve the desired finish.
- copperFill combines finely ground copper powder with premium colorFabb PLA allowing heavy 3D printed objects that can be polished or oxidized to achieve the desired finish.
- woodFill combines recycled wood fibers (30%) with premium colorFabb PLA (70%) to create natural looking, light-weight 3D printed objects.
We also added Cura LulzBot Edition v18 support for bambooFill, bronzeFill, copperFill, woodFill, as well as colorFabb XT. Now you can 3D print with wood and metal right on your desktop. And don't forget to share your projects with these exciting materials on our LulzBot Forum!
